The Japanese artist Yuji Agematsu keeps an extraordinary diary. For years now, Agematsu has collected bits and pieces off the streets of New York, day after day after day. He arranges his findings in his studio, turning them into small sculptures, one for each day. Just like the artist Agematsu we are gathering our own impressions when we walk through the exhibition. After a walk around the Löwenbräu-Areal we will arrange our findings in small cellophane wrappers and start our own diary with impressions of March 12 and Speak, Lokal. |
