PRICE joins Scalable Skeletal Escalator
17:00–20:00
Isabel Lewis has invited PRICE (Mathias Ringgenberg) to join the performers of Scalable Skeletal Escalator during the week beginning 6 October 2020. During this period PRICE inhabits the experimental live artwork, taking up Lewis's scores for watching, moving, speaking and shaping space and responds vocally and physically generating novel instances of interaction. PRICE enters the organismic processes of Scalable Skeletal Escalator, being at times enfolded by it while at other times he emerges in high relief, communicating with his own artistic language. The Kunsthalle Zürich invites you to witness Scalable Skeletal Escalator as modified and effected by PRICE's contribution on 8 October, 5–8 pm.
During this performance, music composition and production are in collaboration with Cecile Believe, Modulaw, Sebastian Hirsig and Tobias Koch.
Dancers are present in the exhibition Scalable Skeletal Escalator every day from 12 noon to 6 pm, Thursdays 1–8 pm. Visitors can enter twice with a single ticket; we encourage you to return several times in order to experience the exhibition evolving.
Scalable Skeletal Escalator is made possible through the collaborative efforts of Dirk Bell / Mo Stern, Lara Dâmaso, The Field (in cooperation with Tanzhaus Zürich), Rafał Pierzyński, PRICE (Mathias Ringgenberg), Juliette Uzor, LABOUR, Matthew Lutz-Kinoy, Sissel Tolaas, Marcelo Alcaide and Yolanda Zobel. It is a live art work that moves through four levels of Löwenbräukunst, where Kunsthalle Zürich is located. The work is created with the support of Tanzhaus Zürich; thanks also to Callie's Berlin and Schauspielhaus Zürich.
