An evening of re-appraisal to consider counter-reformist Catholic orders and movements which have sought to keep the transgressive and revolutionary impulses of early christianity alive – from the Jesuits to Christian Anarchism, to the relationship of the radical left to Roman Catholocism in the 60s and 70s. While discussing the core beliefs of these movements we will also be looking at the considerable influence they have had on the development and perpetuation of radical thoughts in religion, education, art, literature and critical thinking.
