Hannah Weiner Day

Workshop, Lesungen, Gespräche

14.03.2015
11:00–18:30

The American poet Hannah Weiner (1928–97) saw words, wrote them down, and enacted them. What do they mean for us today? How to see what she saw, read what she wrote, hear what’s still there? Conceived together with Franziska Glozer, the curator of this exhibition, this full-day homage offers an in-depth workshop on questions of translation and typography, a series of newly staged readings of Weiner’s work by and conversations with contemporary artists.
