We are happy to inform you that the call for application for this year's edition of VOLUMES is now online!
VOLUMES will take place on Saturday, 28 November and Sunday, 29 November 2020 at Kunsthalle Zurich. You can apply here!
Things are a bit different this year, as you noticed there won't be an opening on Friday evening and only full tables are available, which we will rent out for a reduced fee of CHF 80. The set-up of the fair will be different to guarantee enough space between the tables and therefore we will only be able to host a reduced number of participants. We are working on a detailed safety concept, meeting the official requirements.
As always you can apply for a table at the fair or a performance or exhibition spot. The deadline for the applications is Sunday, 18 October 2020.
For the first time this year we would like to introduce to you our
VOLUMES BOOK AWARD!
2020 has been a rollercoaster, bringing to the forefront topics of equality, justice, colonialism, capitalism, commoning, care, fear, death etc. We would like to highlight and support the production and producers of 2020 with our first book award, which will be decided by online voters. We would like to support especially artists and publishers with small means, making meaningful and selfless work.
The 3 publications with the most votes will receive a cash prize of 500 CHF each to support their work. All of the submitted books will be showcased both online and at the Kunsthalle Zurich.
