Prof. Emily Cross (Cognitive and Social Neuroscience, ETH D-GESS) and filmmaker Manuel Flurin Hendry (ZHdK) speak about their work and research in the context of the exhibition AAA Experiments. Hendry will offer insights into the artistic research process around his installation ‘Friendly Fire at the Shrink’, in which the human need for closeness is hijacked by an artificial ‘intelligence’. Emily Cross presents her work in the field of social neuroscience of robots and the significance of artistic projects such as ‘Friendly Fire’ for her own research.
The evening will be moderated by Adrian Notz; the discussion shall take place in English.
These talks are public and free; they take place on Thursdays between the 10 October and 19 December 2024, starting each week at 7 pm.
