Accessibility

On this page you can find full information about accessibility at Kunsthalle Zürich. Should you have further questions or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us on +41 (0) 44 272 15 15  or by email to info [at] kunsthallezurich.ch.

We are grateful for your suggestions about how we can improve accessibility at Kunsthalle Zürich and in the whole Löwenbräukunst building.

Access for persons with reduced mobility

The closest public transport stop, Löwenbräu tram stop, is barrier-free for visitors with limited mobility. The tram stop is approximately 75 metres from the barrier-free access to Limmatstrasse 268 and approximately 100 metres from the main entrance to Limmatstrasse 270. The entrance most suitable for visitors with limited mobility is the side entrance to Limmatstrasse 268, via a lift (see image above). The entrance most suitable for visitors with limited vision is Limmatstrasse 270, via steps.

To access the step-free entrance from the parking lot, visitors should leave the courtyard via the same entrance as they drive in, turn left and left again to reach Limmatstrasse. The step-free access to Limmatstrasse 268 is approximately 100 metres along on the left hand side.

A staircase with 14 steps leads to the Löwenbräukunst main entrance (Limmatstrasse 270). The accessible entrance is at Limmatstrasse 268; all levels of the building are accessible by lift and all the galleries are wheelchair accessible. Toilets are located on the 1st and 2nd floor (via steps) and level 1.UG (basement). A wheelchair accessible WC is also in the basement.

Should you have any questions or require assistance please ring +41 (0) 44 272 15 15.

Gerstenstrasse access to the rear courtyard, where reserved parking for visitors with disabilities is available.

Further information regarding accessibility can be found on the Zugangsmonitor website from Procap or via OK:GO and the Ginto app
