This project is a partnership between Igshaan Adams’ Studios and five craftswomen from the Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town. The Scalabrini Centre vision is to foster the integration of immigrants and refugees into local society. A series of bags were produced under the mentorship of Adams, using remnant materials from his studio. Each handbag reveals its maker’s distinctive expression. The bags are only available from Kunsthalle Zürich; we cannot take orders online.
