In 2021 DiplomArt took place for the first time with 12 participants, including Malek Ossi who was an invited expert.
On Wednesdays a safer space was offered in Kunsthalle Zürich. The Studio and other working spaces such as the workshops were made available for the day-long sessions. Artistic strategies were suggested and materials and media tested. Above all, participants' own interests were fostered and supported. An important element of the event was eating together, for informal chats and exchanges.
