(and 1 day summer book fair)

Good things are happening on the weekend of the 27th and 28th of August in and around Kunsthalle Zürich - please join us!

On Friday 27 August VOLUMES host an independent publishing celebration at Kunsthalle Zürich in the context of our bookshop exhibition.

At 6pm they will launch the new VOLUMES Archive Section: MEXA!, an archive of independent publications from Mexico selected and activated by visual artist Paloma Ayala and curator Adriana Domínguez for the VOLUMES archive collection. The content of MEXA! has been rearticulated in different ways since its beginning in 2017, always with focus on topics that respond to the concerns felt by zine-makers regarding the social and political struggles in the country.
From 6.30pm is a celebration of books published in the last couple of months that did not receive a proper book launch. The selection includes books published by Bienvenue Publishing, Blow Up Press, Bored Wolves Press, cpress, Edition Patrick Frey, Kodoji Press, Kunsthalle Zürich, Sgomento, The Greenbox, Vexer Verlag, amongst others.
Join us for some beers and enjoy the books!

The next day the first ever outdoor, 1-day summer edition of VOLUMES takes place at Sihlquai 274, 8005 Zürich, from 12-8pm.
