Family Workshop

The world is a playground. This is the theme and motto of our exhibition, shown on both gallery floors of Kunsthalle Zürich this spring. The playground is a place to experiment – in the city, in art, in society. And a frictional space as well, for parents and children alike. That is why the exhibition does not only present things to look at but also to actually play with: like the Lozziwurm, a gigantic colorful worm to crawl through, play hide and seek, and chase around. And a room full of materials to design your own playground! What would your room look like if it were a playground? What about your school, or your parents’ office?

We’ll be play professionals in our education workshop to create the playground of our dreams. We seek inspiration on a brief walk through the Playground Project, a playground as exhibition. For children between 5 and 13 years with or without (from 8 years) parental company.
