VOLUMES Book Club Edition 3

VOLUMES book club edition 3 is a new workshop format: «How to make Publications», with Tamara Maggi as the first guest.

The third of the VOLUMES Book Club Saturday afternoons presents itself in a different format. As always, our intention is to offer a platform to national and international independent publishers and artists, making space for exchanges and discussions. The promotion of less established artistic positions is close to our hearts and we would like to bring the younger generation closer to these practices through workshops and discussions designed especially for them. Generating visibility, mediation and promotion are core motivations at VOLUMES.

With this in mind, the third Saturday of our Book Club is open to high school students interested in art publishing practices. In a workshop organised for them, they will be introduced to the history of art publishing by our guest Tamara Maggi, co-founder of MATERIAL Raum für Buchkultur. The students will then produce their own zines in a practical workshop using a variety of techniques.
